Limbaugh eviscerated the junior announcer promoting a 'diversity' narrative on his show today.

If that's what you're addressing, I'm really impressed with your tact.

I find The Mayor of Realville to be astonishingly insightful about the NFL. He'd be the best analyst they've ever had. Assuredly the audience would grow as he has a phenomenally large following.

Not entirely true, but close. What ever happened to Dennis Miller? He tried it too.

Ya know there are stories all over the web, fox news and yahoo, cnn etc about the joke and sad ESPN operation.

Has become so political correct fire real people like Trent the know the game and replace them with a mono tone dweeb voiced women or some girly man that does not know a jock strap from a cup or thigh pads.

Whole thing makes me ill thinking about the stupid rules now a days, the joke of the broad casting, players sitting and not respecting our country.

Guess I will be soon in the camp of the hell with sport; it is a SPORT, entertainment and of course a business, but the sport is gone and the FUN is gone.

Even Mike and Mike, give the girly never played sports guy that is always controvertible and a argumentive JERK a high paying job and screw the guy that played the games and knows a thing or two about working out and being a real man from that of what it takes to be a PRO athlete

screw ESPN! hope they file BK soon

Yup, ESPN wants to mix their brand of politics with sports. As Michael Jordan once said, "Republicans buy sneakers too."

I grew up with great local announcers. Harry Caray for the Sox and later the Cubbies. Jack Brickhouse, Jim Foley. Guys like that. More recently Paul Allen for the Vikings.

I like originality, character, deep knowledge, and a little spice in my sports announcers.

The weenies on MNF are a sad joke.

Gents, it's not just the football analysts, I've yet to hear ESPN acknowledge the fact that the Cleveland (Indians) have already past the win streak mark of the 1916 NY Giants. They actually only 'won' 12 in row, before a tie, then went on to win 14.

IMO the win streak ended with the tie.

Dave - but the games played without a loss record marches on.

I don't get MNF. Have to pay for more cable (which I'm about to drop in any event) to get ESPN. If it isn't the Cowboys or Eagles............. who cares? Woman announcers in football? Give me a break. When they start playing they should be allowed to be announcers. Same in MLB & NBA & NHL. At least in tennis woman play the game. The only woman allowed in men's sports should be cheerleaders. If they want to apply the same rules to women's sports (no male announcers), that's fine with me. Sorry, but in some things there is no equality.
