Default M Project speakers

Yes, we know all facts about them. Just, I think that they deserve separate thread.

Magico also needs to decide which render is representing a real final look of M Project since there is a big diference among different renders that Magico posted.

Is that real carbon fibre? If so, what is the point of it, if it is stuck on aluminium?

They have carbon fibre sides, not a alu/carbon composit. Aluminum front, rear and sceleton structure inside.

Can be delivered in M-Coat, but then you must add 5000 USD (each speaker).

"New and improved" models are methodically introduced to reignite interest in the marketplace of both reviewers (Who work for advertising selling magazines) and most importantly, the end user consumers (Who give the manufacturers and their dealers their livelihood)!

Reminds me of the Wilson Benesch ACT speakers which I owned for some time, and had no regrets selling at all.. dreadfull speakers as the say in UK.
Must say the M sure looks alike, even the 'hoody' on top.

Still awaiting the Magico S2.

CLEE.......I totally lost interest in Magico as a speaker company with value when I saw the sealant oozing out of the seam on Toga's Magico Q7 and Magico's first response to Toga was demanding his AA thread about the defect be deleted from the forum. Toga is one year into a five year warranty period and gets bullied by Magico for asking advice from his audio friends. That's the kind of customer service I avoid like the plague. Spending $185,000 for a pair of Magico Q7's should have Magico jumping through hoops to satisfactorily solve Toga's Q7 issue. Trying to intimidate him is totally unacceptable. Shame on you Magico. Oh, and the answer is NO if you think I am deleting my post.

Since the Project M speakers are nearly as expensive as Toga's Q7's, I would suggest one ponder long and hard before writing a $130K check to Magico. Do you want this type of customer service, too?
