TBH it was not very hard to see that it was all a scam. Any hobby like ours where there is potentially a lot of money, attracts this type of sellers.

They are still humans and could have been fooled as well. However, the guys demo'ing it on youtube always looked untrustworthy to me.

I've been rather suspicious of Synergistic Research's recent products (tuning dots and HOT for instance). I'll admit I did buy a Core AC power cord based on a recommendation. I found it performed at a level consistent with it's price. I will continue using it since I like it's neutral sound and it helps frequency extension, treble and bass.

I once had some Synergistic Research Designer Reference XLR's & Power Cables and really liked them. I would have kept them but they were very thick & hard to bend and I wasn't real crazy about having to plug in an extra plug for each power cable.
With that said, I have always thought about getting some different S.R. Cables. I felt that they worked very well with Mcintosh.
