I listened to both and plunked down the extra $$ for the 590

Default Great amp

The price difference is worth stepping up to the L-590AX ii. I owned its predecessor the L-590AX. It was a fantastic, full featured amp. It is half the price of the Accuphase E-600 (with a phono card) and performance wise, is on par with the Accuphase.

If there is one component I regret selling it was my Luxman L-590AX.

No reason to go back since I kept the Accuphase E-600 for my office rig, but if the E-600 was not in the picture it would be a no-brainer.

Thanks of the correction - I never could spell!

Nice clean L-590a mkII over on the Gon for a great price. Great sounding, and great looking unit with the bottom flip down door. Worth a look

The seller has zero feedback and rated a 10 year old product at 10/10 condition? I'll have to pass, too risky.

Serge,

It’s truly an amazing amp. Paired with the 900u preamp, the sound is sublime. It’s only 8WPC so speaker choice is important.
