Serge people change speakers (some more than others) all the time and gush when they do. It's always great to see someone in love with their latest music system change. It validates why we all do this.

Congrats Howie on the new speakers.

Howie,
Congrats. Those speakers must really be something, and being able to ogle the Ortelius of Iceland is a nice visual complement. How do you like the listening space since removing the sideboard and turning 90 degrees?

Glad you noticed! Iceland is a great place to visit

The sound is much improved. Even though my listening position is now against a wall it, the increase in sound quality with the speakers further apart and away from the windows has made a huge difference

The strads really opened up this way. I have never heard them so good hence my decision to immediately swap them for a pair of Martens! :screwy:

Thanks Bill. The Marten's do represent a departure from the SF sound which I still adore. If only I had room and cash for a 2nd system...

If only you have cash? Bro, you gotta be joking and so being humble ... you are so loaded with CASH !!!

You still got 8 lives! Use one and bingo, you got the second system!

I'll be seeing you on 17th or the 18th, if I can find time. Let you know how much cash I need .... zero interest ok? Cheers!
