Couldn't agree more, Bill. Perhaps just as important, it helps people understand the neurotic nature of audio design in this industry and why companies do the things they do! Charley was always about sharing information, sometimes to our alarm, but he was right. Our goal has always been to bring the best quality music to as many people as possible. We feel music is such a vital part of our lives and sadly has become less important in the world today with all the distractions in our lives. We'd certainly like to be the ones that people are listening to, but if not, we can at least be there to help people know why one thing may sound better than another when they're looking at all the choices out there.

Welcome Ryan. It’s a benefit to the forum, regardless of our equipment preferences, to have the participation and insights of top shelf audiophile manufacturers like Ayre.

That's both great (for him) and too bad (for us). He was always absolutely wonderful to work with and was instrumental in helping me to get you guys to fix the KX-R Twenty's muting firmware bug (which you finally did, thankfully.)

(All you need to do is reference that bug and he'll remember me, too. )
