Default Please suggest cartridge and phono cable suitable to REGA P10

Hi,
I just got a new Rega Plana 10, modified to accept L-DIN cables.
phono preamp is MOON 610LP which accept XLR input. I am looking to
buy new L-DIN>XLR cable to best utilise the MOON. Currently dealer
lent me Graham IC50 L-DIN>RCA which I think sound pretty good already.
I set target budget at around 2,000S and it has to be better than IC50.
Here are what I can buy based on what is available locally.
1.Transparent Audio
2. Purist Audio Design
3. Taralabs.
4. Kimber
5.Furutech

Then the cartridge. I really have no idea the weight limit or mass of P10
tonearm. What kind of compliance it needs. no idea. now I put my AT33Sa
on it and set MOON to 66dB/100 Ohm and it sounded good. the new cartridge
I am interest are

1. Any Benz Micro < is it gonna be too heavy ?
2. ClearAudio Charisma V2 MM < is it really that good ?
3. Cadenza Bronze or Windfeld

I like high resolution, big and exciting sound but must be smooth enough.
Please give me some idea about RB3000 arm cartridge matching.

Thanks
TOGA

For what it’s worth, I have the Rega RP10, the predecessor to your table. I’m using a Rega Aphelion cartridge, which I love. There’s a lot to be said for the synergy of Rega cartridges and tables, and the alignment is a breeze because of the 3-hole setup.

For a phono-cable, I am very pleased with the WireWorld Pt in my system (talk to Ivan). My 2nd choice would be the Analysis Plus Silver Apex. Both within your budget.

For a cartridge you did not mention a budget. However, if you like the 'house sound' of AT carts (I do) then you might think about the ART1000, which gets rave reviews. Am also a fan of the Ortofon 'house sound'. Again, the more you spend the more 'refined' the sound will be. I'm very pleased with what I hear from my Cadenza Black so the Bronze or Winfield should be close.

Thanks.
The cables I mentions are what I can find locally at reasonable price. Best deal, to be precise.
For cartridge. It can be Anything up to 5000$ msrp.
I am more worried about the weight limitation. I will not
Go for Rega cartridge because I chose for PL10 without one. Buying Rega Apheta3 later would be an expensive
Way to get it.

The ART1000 has an MSRP of $5K. Also, you might want to look at the Ortofon A95. Think some shopping around would get you one for right around your budget.

TOGA,
What is the effective mass of your tonearm? Knowing that you can evaluate all these great cart suggestions for compatibility with your arm.

That is exactly what I was trying to tell in the first post.
I don’t know this. Not mentioned in Rega website as well.
So I have no idea what weight is right also compliance value.
Something >10g likely to be too heavy I guess.

I just looked in the vinyl engine database and the Rega arms with specs have an effective mass of between 10 and 12 grams. The RB 300 that I have has an effective mass of 11.5 grams.

Using that number, you can use the vinyl engine resonance evaluator tool to figure out cartridges that are a good match.

For example a 10g cartridge will need a compliance of between 10 and 20 x 10-6 dyne/cm to be in the resonance sweet spot.

Pretty easy arm to work with, lots of options.
