Thanks for bringing me up to speed, Puma. There was a time when I could have told you about every quality camera on the market.
I started circa 1973 with a Mamiya/Secor 1000DTL - one of the early SLRs with a built-in meter. Even had a spot meter. I remember looking at the OM-1 back then as a possible replacement camera - I wanted to get away from that screw-on Pentax mount on the Mamiya. Instead I went without any new cameras for a couple decades until I could afford a Nikon. I shudder to think how much $$$ I spent of bodies and lenses over the years.
Somewhere along the line I sort of lost the passion and now I'm down to maybe 6-8 lenses but still have 6 'pro' bodies, including two film versions. My new wife hasn't even complained about the two shelves in the fridge filled with film....yet.
