Some folks have said your pictures should be on post cards . . . They are much too nice for that . . .
They should be in a photographic exhibit in some first class museum! Beautiful work Stephen. __________________________________________________ Question . . Did you use a tripod? Your pics are in such perfect focus from front to rear . . . how did you expose . . small aperture? Colors are gorgeous - is this Fuji or Canon? (Your new little Sony?)

You have to be careful not to use too small apertures, especially with APS-C or Micro 4/3 sensor in mirroless cameras; you start to suffer loss of sharpness from diffraction (the aperture starts acting like a pinhole camera). Not impressed with the Sony RX100; I took some shots with it, the images are all "blah"...the LCD is all but useless in bright daylight (I can't see what I'm taking a picture of...), and the camera doesn't have anything like the dynamic range of the X-Pro1 (or the X20, for that matter). Also, there's no magic in the Sony's files. They look like files from a Canon dSLR...excellent, but no "magic".

Kind of cloudy and gray most of the day today, so I went up and shot the lakes above Mammoth.
