Default Wings or Pens

Who do you think is going to win... ( I would like the Pens to win, but I think the Wings will again....)

This should be a good series, but the Wings should be able to hang on. It might go to 7 games this year.

I have been to several Wings - Avs games in "The Can". Yeah, we heard that chant a lot but there sure are a lot of Wings fans in Denver.

I've seen that phenomena too and it makes me wonder:

1. If a person is so identified with Michigan why did they move to Colorado?

2. If a person has moved, why not support the local team? If the local team is not good enough, then refer to question #1 above.

That said, I still have a place in my heart for the NY Islanders (4 Cups in a row!), but I root for my local teams, if and when I have the energy for sports.

My brother moved to the Denver area about 20 years ago. He follows the local teams and has had season tickets for the AVS but would still root for the Wings when they played each other. In football, baseball and basketball I think he has pulled for the Denver teams for awhile now.

Oh, you'd be surprised! Lots of Northeast and Midwest transplants here. Wings in 7. They're stomping the Pens right now in game 5.

What a difference it made having Datsyuk in the line-up. it would be like them playing without Crosby or Malkin. Now they have to try and win one in Pittsburgh
