Dynaudio Confidence C1: Mk I vs. Mk II w/ McIntosh

My Walnut C1s were basically unblemished store demos and cost 3200 euros with Stand 2s, when new C1s used to cost 5990 euros + around 900 extra for the Walnut finish + 390 euros for the stands. So it was an excellent deal, but even so I shouldn't have jumped at it. Mind you, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the speaker, but there's plenty wrong with my finances, so as good as the discount was, it hurt and still does

But for anyone with the money comfortably in hand, I can recommend grabbing such good deals without reservations. Certainly a better bang for the buck than a new Mk II would be - although if you happen to own a money tree, I guess then it doesn't matter
