He'll chime in, trust me. In the meantime, I need to ask if you have any room treatment. Going back to the basics, I still think room treatment is a better option than EQ. I used the Velodyne SMS-1 between my SP3 and Velodyne HGS-18. I did not like the results as I could hear that last degree of air was missing. Everything sounded better without it.

Yes, but only for the subwoofer.

Thanks Kal. Are you familiar with the DSPeaker X4? I have one on order, and would like to know if there's a way to insert it in the signal path where it will affect both subs and L/R mains. It works on both up to 500 Hz.

I've been using an anti-mode since reading your review way back when. Works great.

Not really an option. This is our main living area, and bass traps and diffusers won't cut it. Wife's fine with it, but the dog is being a bit of a butthead.

Just kidding, but my room really sounds pretty good overall. Not too live or dead. See photos of it in the Bryston picture thread, first couple pages I think.

there have been significant changes, but the basic layout is the same.

Moonhawk, you should start a separate thread about this product once you get it. Sounds as if this device can be an inexpensive way to add RC to any preamp that does not have it?

Well, it's not exactly inexpensive, ($3500-$4000)and I won't be keeping it if I can't integrate it with the SP3 with all inputs. I guess I'll have to email Mike Pickett to get an answer to that.

If it works out, I will start a thread, but I'm not exactly a prolific writer.

Maybe we can get Kal to start a thread.
