Accuphase DP-560 Owner's Info

I am looking into buying a DP-560 wondered if there are any owners here that can tell me if they are happy with it, how it sounds and if it works flawlessly.
There seems to be very little info on the web about it other than a Positive Feedback reviews.
Anyone know the current U.S. retail price of it if we are allowed to post that here great not looking to break rules.

I own (2) Accuphase DP-560’s and really enjoy them. They sound amazing, and the Transport is dead silent.

Current retail is $17,500 but you won’t pay anywhere near that from your favorite Accuphase Dealer.

Hi there,

I just bought DP560 at the start of 2019 and it slowly burns in. I can tell you that it is a great SACD player and you can feel the quietness in the music. It is really amazing! Another aspect of this SACD player is its DAC section. A few days ago I installed Roon in my system, so I am now able to stream music to Accuphase DP560 via USB. The result of this really blows me away! Let’s say that I’m thinking about selling my mytek Brooklyn bridge now.

Attn to Accuphase team, if you guys are reading this...maybe I could suggest that you sell your CD player as ‘DAC that plays cd’ rather than just ‘CD player’. well done!!!

I'm in the process of building my first Accuphase system with the help of Masterlu. Initially, I was not thinking of CD player/DAC but do have a ton of CDs collecting dust. Curious about the Roon connection. Is the DP560 a Roon endpoint or do you have something between?

Nope, none of the Accuphase digital components are a Roon endpoint, so neither is the DP560.

You need a streamer with digital output (SPDIF or USB) to be such an endpoint, and use the DP560 as DAC.

In my case, I connect directly from Roon server via USB to the back of DP560.. and then from DP560 to the rest. Although DP560 is not roon ready and it doesn't have the MQA unfolding capability, the roon server will just do it for you. The sound is still good to me. Hope this helps.
