Congratulations Jim....
Sounds like quite the achievement.... glad to know you're very happy with the changes you've made over the past year of so.. Personally, I have mixed emotions.. and they deal with esthatics and not sound.. (I've never had the pleasure of hearing them). On one hand I like how they look and I think the fact they are not black is a good thing. On the other hand their sheer size seems to overpower the room...like too much of a good thing?.. Of course, I'm only seeing it from the pictures.. I'd love to sit down with you and enjoy for awhile.. that would be quite the treat!.. |

I agree with others here - WOW, WOW, and WOW!! This is so exciting!!
Sounds like your house will be filled with music (and people to come hear them! Haha!) Mind if I share your beautiful Alexandria's with other Wilson fans on Facebook? I can't wait to hear more of your listening impressions. Enjoy, and happy listening!! -Debby |

WOWSERS. The fact that it only took 3.5 of you (haha) is impressive. Maneuvering around corners and down stairs must have been challenging, to say the least. I bet the work is paying its dividends now, though.

Why don't you wait 'till I get a couple of photos that do not seem to distort the lines of the lovely speakers. I may have to try a different lens. Then I have no issue. Jim |

We didn't bring them in thru the main floor or down the steps. They only had to negotiate a grassy slope that runs from my driveway down to my back yard. Once they were past that it was a strait shot across the lower level to my 2-channel room. JIm |

Oh, very nice. I actually think I recall reading that in one of your earlier posts. I love your acoustic art, Jim. May I ask where one might be able to purchase these?

I purchased them from GIKacoustics you will find them at .com. You can choose stock photos from a huge catalog or provide your own art that they will use. Jim |

Here are a couple of shots with the panels on. It is hard to get a head on shot. My lenses at the wide end seem to have barrel distortion so I choose an off angle perspective.
