Stark...welcome! TAD is a great line, well worth the stretch and international shipping!

Ivan-san...any tricks up your sleeve?

Highly recommend TAD. Completing two years with my CR-1s, and I couldn’t be more happy with them. I suspect Ivan can make something reasonable happen in Canada.

I'm finally going for TAD as it's now available in western Canada! I haven't decided on the model just yet (leaning towards CR1) and maybe I should make a new thread but are you guys using TAD gear throughout the chain or experimenting with other brands too? Any pairings you've found to work well together?

TAD and Esoteric amplification, preamp, etc...is a great combination!

For TAd listen to the CR1 and the R1 if you have the chance..

Go CR-1s... they’re awesome. I pair it with McIntosh with fine results but I’ve heard them with Bryston gear too and they sounded phenomenal. I would think esoteric would be sweet as well!

TAD CR-1s, with accuphase electronics. It has treated me very well for 2.5 years or so.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I was interested in Accuphase but the dealer doesn't have them to audition with unfortunately. I'll try Esoteric to start with. And I am leaning towards the CR1. I had thought about going all out with the Reference One but that will leave little to no funds left over for the electronics!

My TADs are fed by Nagra Classic Amps. Sound is wonderful to me.
