Wireworld vs. Transparent IC's

Has anyone done any comparisons of these brands for IC's? I was just talking with Ivan about it, I am so sick of TA's prices and I am starting to look at alternatives. Just wondering if anyone made such a switch and what they think.

What level of Transparent do you have now?

Super ic's and Ref SC's. I do love the products but not the insane prices.

I should add that I am currently demo'ing some Ref IC's and they do provide a modest improvement, yet they cost almost 4k a pair after my trade in. Spending 8k on IC's that just give me a modest improvement? Not cool.

Last month I did try their Ref XL SC and I was definitely impressed with that. I believe it would also be about an 8k outlay...but at least it impressed me more.

I welcome any advice or experience, but currently I am not interested in upgrading the SC's, since I do like them and just recently got them (well, in the last year!) So let me know what your experience is with IC's mostly.

Oh and by the way I just ordered a Silver Electra power cord for my Ref75 from Ivan. I hope I will hear something different there as well, I have never purchased an upgraded power cord in my life until now.

Well for me i like better the wireworld cables for everything they do, l am just 2 cables short of a full set of wirewold,4 silver electra and 1 platinum eclipse interconnect and wow what a difference .i am just wondering if the price for the platinum eclipse speaker cable justified the price tag

I am wondering if any of you tried the wireworld pkatinum eclipse serie 7 sc with wilson audio or did anyone compared it an other brand of cable,
i am looking for any input on thr pkatinum sc because i am about to pull the triger on a pair of sasha 2
