Default Help removing plinth from VPI HW-19 JR

Are there any owners out there of the VPI HW-19 Jr that could provide me with direction on how I go about moving the plinth. I would like to have a local cabinet maker build a new one for me in cherry to match my Aerial 7T's.

Remove the platter. Then either get something between the plinth and the outside frame and lift, or get a start by using the mounting screws/pillars for the vpi pulley cover.

If it is the original Jr. plinth it is not particularly heavy.

You could also get underneath the table and push up on the plinth. The Juniors used sorbothane pucks so I bet after this long they are stuck pretty well to both the plinth and the wood surround. You will need to use some force to get it them to separate.
