When I think of Seiko it is usually their quartz watches that come to mind. Their spring powered mechanical watches in the Grand Seiko line are of a different caliber all together.

Seiko does make good, reliable and relatively priced watches. Still had this mechanical Grand Seiko - bought in Hong Kong almost 5 years back for SGD4500 and still functioning.

Jerry.......Your watch is still in the Grand Seiko line up. The designation is now SBGM021.

The Grand Seiko SBGC005 in High-intensity titanium is a beauty, too.
