I will be at home on sunday, then I will measure the thickness. But it certainly is not flimsy. I will try to take some pictures.

Indytown,
the aryl hood is 5 mm thick. Sorry, i was wrong concerning the price. According to the Clearaudio online shop the cover costs 480 Euros. I paid 400 Euros and picked it up from Clearaudio myself. Here are some pictures: You might get it cheaper if you have someone build you this custom hood in your country Kind regards Burkhard Last edited by gubab; 03-31-2014 at 03:11 PM. |

Thank you Burkhard, That is a good looking hood. The fit looks precise . Are there any clear cushions on the bottom of the hood when it sits on the MT 10. |

Indytown,
no, there are no cushions on the bottom. The hood sits directly on the metal of the MT 10. Actually only 1 mm of the hood sits on the metal, the other 4 mm are in the air. Burkhard |

Thanks Burkhard, I may try Gingko Audio to see if they can produce one here in the states.

I do not have a MT10 but I do have a CA table it came with a outer ring weight and I feel it is well worth having a outer ring has well a CA record weight for the centre. They make a difference to the positive. CA is not cheap but I am very glad to have the one I own .
You never regret doing it right. It takes up a lot of real-estate but I will keep my Statement till the day I die. |
