Default Micro-Seiki DD-40 Up and spinning...

Well I'm sure that I have a ways to go tweaking this fine table, but it is sounding mighty good for a 30 y/o table with an inexpensive cartridge and amateur set up.

I had a credit at Accoustic Sounds so... I used it to purchase a nicely made Sumiko Head-shell and the good folks there recommended a...
Clearaudio Aurum Classic MkII wood body cartridge.

I think that this table will end up in my office with a tube based integrated (maybe the Cayin) and will be heard through my vintage JBL 4301b's.

Thats the plan for now. Right now it's in the main system and sounding really nice.

I have always admired Dan's DD-40 and couldn't pass up this deal. It is, as Dan has said, a joy to set up and work with.

Stephen.......Very nice. I am happy you made this purchase. I knew you would be pleased with the Micro Seiki DD-40 turntable. With all the tonearm adjustment capabilities, it is a tweaker's dream. Enjoy your new toy. It is gorgeaous.
