You can build the Adona's any way you want. Adding just another center stack above the middle piece is easy. It is all modular.

I stand by the Salamander, not that there may not be better ones out there but I've had no issues and it looks nice. I have a 402 and RGPC on the bottom, DAC and LS 26 in the middle, FIOS box and transport on the first shelf, and my plasma on top. It's rock solid, but I'm on a concrete slab floor too.

Agree with Sal, I've got a twin 30 with a twin 20 extension on top. Got 3 501s and a 402 in there and no problem. These amps are on the bottom shelves. Some of the ones shown here may be able to handle more weight, but the aesthetics/price mix are good for my room.

Don't get me wrong, the Adona's are bad ass. However, with cost and the design that I need, the Salamander fits into my situation better at this point.

Sal, you mentioned yours is on a concrete floor. Mine will be on carpet. I don't see this being an issue though.

80B, you have some heavy artillery in you Salamander. I agree, both the price and aesthetics are very attractive. Say, you wouldn't happen to have any pics of your rack lying around?

I've been thinking....only thinking now..... about the Salamander Twin 30. I really like the idea of the adjustable shelves. Will keep an open mind about the Sala

Way cool, 'cisco. Our gang of Salamander owners are gonna terrorize the neighborhood.

Here's my revised and updated plan. The Triple 30 looks like it will accommodate my needs nicely.

My center channel speaker will go on top of the Trip 30.

You may want to consider moving your disc players up to the top internal shelf, that way you don't have to bend down too far when you insert/remove discs.
