JL Audio and Cigarette Racing Team Make a Splash at the Miami Boat Show

For boat lovers across America, February 14th of this year signified passion and love that had nothing to do with Valentine’s Day. From February 14th-18th, the Miami Boat Show took over every corner of Miami and Miami Beach. One of the most buzzed about booths at the show belonged to Cigarette Racing Team, and JL Audio was alongside our partners at Cigarette as they marveled in the excitement of a huge product unveiling.
At 10:45 AM on Thursday morning, the luxurious boat company teamed up with Mercedes -AMG to unveil the world’s first fully electric performance boat. During the much anticipated unveiling, hundreds of bystanders experienced the excitement of the technology of the future accompanied by the dynamic bottom end of a Fathom f212 and two custom M770 enclosures.
According to Chad Braver from Cigarette’s Engineering & Product Development Team, the Cigarette AMG Electric Drive was not the only object of people’s attention throughout the show. “People were in awe of the Fathom’s depth and authority, even at low levels.” he claimed. “I saw several people taking photos in front of the speakers throughout the show.” The Fathom’s cameo in the Cigarette Booth is fantastic news for the Home Category: the gorgeous woofer had its place in the spotlight in front of thousands of people belonging to just the right demographic.
