Looks like on the Cybershaft website they are discontinuing the OP20 and that they only have a small stock of OP17 left? Sounds bad potentially ... Hope the translation page is incorrect or I'm reading it wrong ...

Mark could explain it better but my understanding is that Hasegawa-san sorts the parts he gets into their individual performance levels. The very highest levels are simply getting harder to find.

Correct....OP17 still bests most everything else out there...

It may come back around. He is always on the hunt for high quality OCXO modules.

Hello,
Need to ask a similar question as above about the Teac CG-10M Clock, I am running an Esoteric U-3XPi universal player and wanted to know if this clock would be an advantage over the internal clock in the player? Also how is an Esoteric G-03X clock for this application?

Default Is it worthwhile to add a TEAC CG-10M master clock to an Esoteric K-01Xs?

No experience with your player or the TEAC clock so I can’t really help you. Any chance you can audition it?

I have no direct experience with that unit but according to its specs, it does not take 10Mhz input so you’ll need a good word clock like the G02X that can put out 44.x and its multiples. That stated, yes a high quality external clock will help anything IMHO that has a PLL or VCXO internal clock circuit. YMMV

Good luck with your potential upgrade.

I don't have direct experience with the TEAC or the REF10 so perhaps others will respond.
