I'm streaming the rolling stone song, Angie and it sounds very good. When the guitar in the begining plays I can hear the strings being plucked, Mick Jagger sounds like he is 2 feet in front of me , when the violins play I feel the orchestra.
Tin Pan Alley by Stevie Ray Vaughan always sounded great to me before , press start let's see if the D1100 sounds better than my MCD500 . Wow ! Holy C--p ! I don't even know where to begin. The detail and sound stage are amazing. The transformation is truly something I would not have expected. Out of the box , no break in playing tidal is awesome. I'm using the Halide bridge going into the coax input. Can't wait to get the USB cable .

Whats also a pleasant surprise is listening to a hi resolution file of Diana Krall, song Jimmie the piano key strokes can be heard along with the occasional sound of the pedal on the piano being stepped on . I never had this kind of resolution listening to this song. Sound stage is also bigger, mid high's seem brighter. If the sound is even better with the usb cable then with this halide bridge I'll be ecstatic

Congrats David. Glad you got her fired up and making music. My purchase was also performed with blind faith. I was (and remain) very pleasantly surprised how wonderful the D1100 is. Mine is connected to MCT450 via DIN cable and Aurender N10 via coaxial.

Sounds great
I have had better luck going coaxial from my streamer to DAC then USB. Using an Audioquest Diamond at this point May have to consider the WireWorld USB cable in near future
