Check out how nice and even the RPG Abfussor for example works. In the range it is effective in, the coefficient is extremely even. Tapestry, blankets, pictures, etc.. will have a very narrow range where they will absorb the sound. Having said that, it is better to have something than nothing at all due to the hard reflections. Just don't expect an even tone response.





Ok, so maybe it is not the most elegant looking thing but it is not terrible either. Having invested a serious amount of money into the gear should probably open up a little wiggle room for aesthetic compromises to get the most out of it.

Jim I realize it's been awhile, but just wanted to see how your set-up is performing? What did you find as the best positioning (from back & side) for the 111's?
