Thanks for the kind welcome, guys!

To answer a one question: I do have the Rockport Avior scheduled to come in for review in the early summer. I also have the Sonus Faber Futuras and the Raidho C2.1s coming very soon.

For those of you that love speakers, you may want to look at our CES coverage at The Latest Reports on Global. I did a series on Superspeakers. Start at the bottom of the page with the Intro and work up to the Final Results last. There is also some good coverage there of general products.

Someone commented on the Torus selection. I too think these guys address the problem of power conditioning from a very fundamental level. We have a feature coming up on them on February 1.

Jeff,
Welcome to AA - IMHO, the best place to learn about audio.

As to the selections for the system, this is my World's Best Audio System, and I am sure yours would be different and I totally respect that. Some of the choices -- like SRA Scuttle Cubed -- was because at SRA the prototype was performing so good they thought it might just be their new reference.

Anyway, I'd be happy to answer any questions and welcome respectful comments. You guys have a nice community here and I'm happy to take part where I can offer something useful.

Jeff,

Welcome and glad you are here. Appreciate the insight into the choices made and would appreciate even more! I don't think anyone disputes that the items chosen are top notch, but peraps why they were chosen over other brands would be interesting and make the choices more valid.

Looking forward to your continued presence.
