Default Panerai

I have had my eye on a Panerai for a few years now and recently that dream turned into a reality.
A couple of weeks ago we visited the Panerai boutique here in Naples and purchased a Luminor Marina 1950 3-day automatic titanio (PAM00351)
I love this watch and it is a nice contrast to others I own.

Nice choice. It has the in house movement making it much more desirable among collectors.

I have the plain one (no date or seconds) and I simply love it.

I love the contrast between the size of the watch and the simplicity of the dial.

Great looking watch. I always drool over a nice Paneari or AP, but realistically I will probably wind up with something a little more budget friendly as my next watch.

Thank you, I am very happy with my selection and it is not easy to decide!

There is certainly something that I find very appealing about the design of this watch and brand in general.

I like the AP's too, but I doubt that will ever be on my wrist

I walked into a jewelry store a while back with the intent of looking at Breitling or Bell & Ross and they actually showed me a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine that I think may be my next watch. Never even considered them until they brought one out of the case. They did tease me by pulling an AP out of the case and let me put that on too...

Gary Ulysse Nardin is certainly a fine and unique watch maker. I own a Bell & Ross and like it a lot. Sometimes holding the watch and placing it on your wrist changes your perspective on what you want to purchase.
