You might want to consider Wilson. Arc designs their amps with Wilson's. I'm sure any Wilson will sound spectacular. And waddya know...there's the new Sasha....haha!

Made a road trip with the amps and spent some time with the Kipods. Really sounded great. I've heard a lot of speakers that sound great with small ensemble, but many get muddy in large orchestral passages. No so with the Kipods - great resolution and huge sound stage.
I did feel like they wanted more power - not surprising given the sensitivity. Unfortunately I can't afford Ref 250's and YG's Other reservation was that I really like systems that grab your attention at all volume levels. My pairing in that room liked things a little louder to draw me in. The room was overdamped which may have been at the heart of this. All this said, after a couple hours I wanted more... Ed |
