Thinking of upgrading my speakers
Guys,
Time to upgrade the speakers, thinking about moving up the zingali range to the clientname 1.5; 96db horns. Finally giving the full voice the giscours and the cc80's deserve. Thoughts?

Hi AudioGuy,
Good question. I listened to the clientname model in a large room (5 meters by 8 meters long) with very little treatment. The mids and highs are as sweet as I've come to expect from horns, what was surprising was the dispersion did not really require listening in a sweet spot. this model has more slam with the large woofer. I find the absence of cross overs makes the sound quite pure, voices can be quite haunting in solos. Wood instruments have lots of timber. Looking back at this post I'm not sure I've done justice but I can say that I preferred the sound to any other horn and indeed any speaker under 50k, I find the price point of the whole Zingali range more or less a 50% discount to the rest of the market.
