The same price range with more power.

Where is the value? Why would I drive to a dealer, not hear a piece of gear, have them make profit off me for literally doing nothing other than pushing paper, then I have to drive back to pick the gear up? Versus calling up an online dealer, getting a price, saying OK, then having the box arrive at my door? This isn't to take away from Mc dealers who do provide value like in home demos and such. It just rubs me the wrong way when dealers want to make money when they do zero work.
Agree. Try to support my local dealer, but he has no interest in having the gear/speakers I'm interested in on his floor. Happy to order for me with pre-payment. His business decisions do not work for me.

I did consider the MA252, but I need more inputs. Think it will be a popular item for McIntosh.

I agree.....nice job.
Too bad they can't build it. I heard end of Jan or Feb before the 2nd run goes into production. I'm sorry, Mc is mess. Whoever does their production forecasting/planning should be shot. As well as, whoever runs the Service Dept. at the factory. Shouldn't take 6 months to get something serviced, especially when Audio Classics down the road can do in a few weeks.
I would LOVE to have Charlie's ear for 10 minutes...

I don’t think they have a service department. More like a service man as in one person.

6 months? I would have been happy with that, try 12 and then my piece broke again within 2 weeks.

This is how I feel on nearly all high end electronics and cables in my city.

wise and sonically.
Very interesting. How would you expect the MC252 to compare to an MC275/C22 combo on speakers such as these or perhaps B&W 805s? Thanks!
