I only have a few pictures taken by another person ata Hotel in Warsaw, IN.

Thought some of you might like to see what was done to my 2008 Bullitt Mustang recently.

Seibon says not to use them on their Carbon Fiber Hoods so they are being replaced with the Chrome Hood Brace from (UPR).

Terry, 160 HP is a lot of HP to loose between motor and rear wheels…….why ?

have you done anything to strengthen the drive train ? ……..transmission modification ?
how about the rear, maintaining the 8.8 ? ……. any plans for mini-tub and Fab 9 rear ?

In the 9's for the 1/4 mile I would imagine as it ran 10.32 with the old set-up.

Actually not to mislead you guys it is actually a street driven Bullitt Mustang.
I only run it on a drag-strip very infrequent.
Drag-Strips destroy cars even with the best parts if you do it frequent enough.

Dave,

Manual cars loose like 15% and Auto cars loose like 20% for drive-train loss.

The drive-train is all beefed-up.

It runs what is called a fully built 5R55, TCI Super Street Fighter transmission.

It also has a Circle-D custom built Billet converter.
(Stall speed is for the street)

No need to replace the existing, New Shelby GT-500 complete rear end assembly.
(It will hold what my torque is and much more)

No Mini-Tubs as this is a street driven Bullitt Mustang not a, Drag-Race ONLY car.

I will be running the M/T Street Comp 305/35-20's in the rear & 245/45-20's in the front.

They will be on the M/T SC-5 9" wheels in front and the 10.5" wheels in the rear.

This should take place in July if M/T has the tires ready for sale then to the public.

Actually there really is some very serious dollars in the Bullitt Mustang for sure.

I ordered it back in 2008 when Ford came out with the 40th Anniversary Bullitt Mustang.

That was based on the movie with Steve McQueen called, (Bullitt) in 1968.

I have changed/Modded it every since.

It is now a very awesome street driven Mustang with still every factory option working.

Like, A/C, X/M, Shaker 1000 sound system, power everything like, windows, brakes, steering etc.

It truly is a one of one Bullitt Mustang and the only one that we know of with an automatic transmission.

All Bullitt Mustangs come from Ford with a 5-Sp. manual tranny.

Trust me Big-Guy this thing will accelerate after the 1/4 mile harder than any normal performance car from a stand-still.

It is now a real joy to motivate and now it has my, {Complete Attention} under WOT, (Wide-Open-Throttle).

This is what I luv Dan and have been doing this sort of thing since the Mid 60's.

The other thing I really-really Luv is my H/T, (Home Theater).

No children and I will soon be 69 yrs. old come June this year.

I fully intend on enjoying my life buddy as long as I can with the Big-Boys toys.
