Motor noise

My Performance SE motor started to make a scraping noise recently. It's audible over most music, at reasonably mild volumes. It's a repetitive scrape scrape scrape sound.

I have checked belt tension, pulley clearance, pulley tension on the motor shaft, including separating the motor from the body to verify the noise is isolated to the motor and shaft.

Have any Clearaudio owners noticed this with their motors? Curious if this is a common development and not to be concerned other than the annoyance. Does the motor shaft require lubricant?

And worst case, has anyone had experience purchasing replacement motors with CA?
