Well first let me say that they're going through a break in period right now. I pretty much changed everything from cables, to amp, and source. Also Bill from Sumiko(metaphacts) just "dialed them in". Not to mention when I first got them I only probably got 20hrs on them.

What I can tell you is that right out of the box I was immediately blown away by there dynamics. That was with me just "placing" them. For me, I don't believe there is a "monitor" type speaker in it's class. As I have over 150hrs on them they have even opened up more. The sound is so dynamic and the sound stage is outstanding. The high's are extremely clean, pure, and detailed. The most surprising aspect of the speaker for me has been the low end. It really has great dynamics and bass. Even though I don't think it needs to be said, the design and finish are second to none. The most beautiful speaker's I have ever owned. The Evo's have a long break in period so once I get 500+ hours on them I'll have even more to say. With the way they sound right now I can only imagine how it's possible they can sound any better.
