Another long time lurker here...formerly defilamintkid on AK...

Have been looking at this thread and noticed mentions of Focal Aria 936s beautiful
picture and gear...and also an Aria 948 driven by Emotiva....

Currently own the Aria 948s in Noire walnut driven by a Parasound JC5 power amp.
to say the least the music ranges from very delicately layered appearing out of nowhere it would seem, vibrant to very dynamic strong All this presented in a huge amazing soundstage 3d sountstage....

Feel so very blessed to have this level of musical quality with my system ..

Best wishes everyone

Gorgeous! How would describe the change going from the C47 to the Backert Labs?

I went from the C47 to a Prima Luna Evo 400 tube preamp. It was after that I knew it was going to be a tube preamp from then on. Then I auditioned the Backert Labs Rumba and loved how it handles every note. Lows, mids, highs. But don’t forget that I have a dedicated fully treated media room. The Rumba was nice but the Rhythm 1.3 sounds much more revealing. Please audition one ASAP.
