Default "Wicked" / Broadway Soundtracks

I've never listened to broadway tunes until I met my wife. She loves broadway tunes and got my nine year old daughter interested in them. Well I didn't pay much attention until I heard a very good piece of music coming from my daughters room (unlike the usual Disney and American Idol roster). I put the "Wicked"cd on my system and was blown away. I moved on to "Le Miserables", Fiddler on the Roof and Beauty and The Beast. These pieces are fantastically produced, recorded and mastered and they are performed by remarkably talented musicians.

The soundtrack from "Wicked" is a must listen. I have never heard my system sound so thrilling as "For Good" (song number 18). Between the music and the sonics it actually moved me to tears.

I have had season tickets to the Theater for years. Lots of great music comes from Shows and become pop hits and people never know it.
