Just out of interest, because I will definitely not have the budget for more then 2xF112V2's, for a room of this size and for a system of this kind, where would you draw a sensible limit to subwoofer size (in terms of JL Audio types), beyond which one would not hear relevant improvements any more? 2xF113V2's? Or even 2xF213's?

If I only need the 20-30 Hz range, wouldn't it be just a lot more cost efficient to go with a pair of E112, instead of a pair of F112V2? Feels like one would loose a little on the quality side while saving a lot on the cost side. I would never do that if I was crossing over the spearkers at 80Hz, or even at 60-65 Hz, but it feels like the loss in quality and room equalization would be minimum if one is using only the 20-30 Hz range. But I'm only making up theory here, nevertheless wondering how it would play out in reality.... Would a pair of E112 sound better, than one single F113V2 (roughly the same price level)?

Generally speaking the F series JL subs perform at a higher level than their more economical E series. However as far as your last question, I believe that would depend upon the specific room and application. A pair of subs properly positioned will generally provide more even bass response throughout the listening space than a single sub, but if the room has good acoustics and the single better sub is properly positioned it could outperform the cheaper dual sub approach. So there are trade-offs to be weighed, as usual in high end audio.
