Agree. I'm happy as well.

For the C1100 owners, how long is the umbilical that attaches the power to the control sections? I wanted to know how far apart I can separate the two components and whether the space in my current equipment rack would allow for this component.

Thanks!

Thanks.

BTW...If by the Twin Cities you are in Mpls/STP, then you are in one of the best cities in America. Love it there. And Audio Perfection is not such a bad place to shop!

Yup! St Paul. Haven't been to Audio Perfection in many years. Might have to stop by. Cheers!

While researching DB25 cables for my C1100C/T I came across this post. I will be bringing up an old thread... Read through every post.

I am wanting to arrange my new stand and the preferred placement of would be my C1100T on the left, the D1100 in the middle and C1100C on the right.

This will require the 3' DB25 cables to be replaced with 5' cables.

Has anyone done this? I would have to think a change from 3' to 5/6' couldn't really cause an issue. That info from Chuck is surprising to me.

On a side note, I have been extremely happy with the C1100/D1100 combo for the last 6 months

I asked Chuck Hinton about longer cables for the C500T in order to place them side by side on the rack at the time. His response was the same 3' are the only size available and gave the voltage explanation.
