Congrats on the new MA9000 and a very nice system. Yes the 9000 is beautiful but it looks the same as the 8000, also beautiful.
I think the MA9000 is the first new integrated I'd be willing to swap for my MA7000 and D100, as the new DAC is likely equal or better.

You have an interesting curve/wave on your EQ, and I see it's engaged.

Lossless > D100 / Yami YP 450 tt > MA7000 > KEF RDM3 / SVS SB2000 / Too much music, not enough time.

Looks great! I feel like Klipsch doesn't get the respect they deserve in the higher end world. They make nice speakers at a reasonable price IMO.

Jon,

She is a beauty! When you get time after a little break in, give us an update. I think I would hang on to that piece. Certainly a bruiser to move around. I think my 601's are about 90lb a piece. The MA9000 is over 100lbs for sure. I had to have my son in law help me when I moved my system down stairs. Hopefully you won't have to many moves. It sure is pretty...
Does it have the same punch it the bass that your other amps had?

Congrats!

MA9000 is a beautiful integrated amp, I think it's better to have dac, pre and amp in the same box. Cables are reduced to minimum size.

I wonder if the risk of a component breakdown wouldn't be the reason that i still prefer to have separate elements?

[QUOTE=JWJW;865492]The MA9000 is a HUGE winner IMHO. I've played it with my new Klipsch Forte's all weekend and it sounds amazing.

JWJW - am giving serious consideration to the Forte IIIs and am wondering if they have provisions for mounting spikes underneath?

Great system - need a pic with the Forte IIIs.

Hi,
They do not. REALLY cheapo round painted metal pads.

Give Peter a call at Symposium, consider putting the Forte's on top of Rollerblocks double stacked. Will change/improve the Forte's considerably for the better.

Thanks. Unless they are glued in place it should be easy to use the existing screw hole as a starting point to mount a spike or Stillpoint, etc.

My local (75mi) Klipsch dealer has them available for audition. Have to get up there for a listen.
