Yes......... a great come-back win (tire & mechanical) by Quintana. Makes one wonder if he might not be in yellow if he rode for Sky. They are like the USPS squad at their peak (drugs aside). No team could touch them.
Coverage is a bummer. Want to watch? Gotta pay.

I don’t know the details but I believe It’s a hold over from the once rumored potential doping scandal with Froome. He was found to have excessive levels of an asthma medicine at the Vuelta last September. Cleared by the authorities but not some fans.

Some terrible behaviour by certain fans; spitting on Sky riders and a girl back up team member thru her car window, attempting to punch Froome, trying to pull the leader off his bike, and a gendarme pulled Froome off his bike as he was descending to the team car after a mountain stage two days ago.

I’ve never watched the tour on TV before this year, and I really just caught stage 15 onward.
Some of the shots of riders flying downhill around curves are nothing short of spectacular. This is, at least to me, the most photogenic sporting event ever. The helicopter cinematography was really excellent and gave beautiful views of the countryside. I’ll be visiting for sure. Tom

It is an amazing athletic event. The TV coverage the past few years has really shown the beauty of France overall and the Alps and Pyrenees in particular. The fields, the vistas and Castles.
But to me, it’s all about the athletes. I have so much respect for what they do for 21 Days. Nothing like it.

Agreed! I’ve done a few 500 mile road rides and it was all I could do to finish every day. The hill climbers especially amaze me.
