Think she would agree with my desire of getting a new Pre-Amp?
Randy.......Probably not providing you don't mind bring home a new diamond tennis bracelet with the preamp.

Looks great, randy. Is it giving you the sound you were looking for?

So far... amazing!

Very sweet sounding amp.... best sound stage I have ever heard in an amp... definitely full true Goldmund sound... throwing a few things at it. So far very nice.

Stevie Ray playing now... very clear, nice bottom end.... where I have noticed the biggest differences is in music that emphasizes imaging and sound stage... Alan Parsons, Norah Jones, Shelby Lynn, etc. have only listened a couple hours so barely warming it up!

Beautiful Randy! I often wondered about those little JOB amps and almost bought one a while back... Almost.

BTW, a little disturbing fact... I see a slew of stock power cables plugged into a $6 power strip behind your system. Your system and ears deserve better!

Hey, I started all of this from scratch a couple months back. Takes some time ....

I have upped all the interconnects and headphone cable ....

So recommendations? Goldmund offers the Sweet Cable that they recommend for the Job amp... but a $300 power cable is not in the cards right now ...

I just pulled a Monster Power Power Center strip that I had on my desktop computer (completely not needed in that setup). I will hook this power strip in for now. It has to be better than what I have there ...

Don't sweat it man. This stuff takes a while. I just started removing black cords in my system after building it up for several years. Enjoy your journey.

Thanks.... is the Monster Power - Power Center strip a decent starting point?

I don't have experience with that, so I can't comment. Many people do not believe in plugging amps into power strips, though.

My amp will not be here until Tuesday. Ups is a bunch of liars. They said that was always the date, but that's not what the Web tracker said. And that's like 7 business days. They must not be counting the day it's picked up and Christmas eve. Argghh... Breathe Marc.
