Though, your hopes for me upgrading makes me want to investigate that thought. For me, the audiophile hobby is about music, as it's for most of us. Components as an object can have some attraction to me due to many different things. But never without a specific goal regarding my taste of music reproduction. When to upgrade or make changes in my system it starts with an idea of getting the music reproduction in a specific direction that i prefer. There were so many things that got better in sound quality with the purchase of the Gotham subwoofer. The small adjustments I made in my system during the set up of the subwoofer are so close to my expectation of whats possible that I think I need some time to figure out what can be better in sound quality and what part or parts of my system is the clue to get there. Small changes here and there, like cables or tweaks and so on can off course make things slightly better. I regularly visit GSO (Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra) and as an audiophile I tend to compare the different music experience live and from a music reproduction systems. One big difference is the speed, airiness, micro and macrodynamics, the power of the instruments and music. The character of the deep low bass an bass is also completely different. The subsonic acoustic sound in a big music hall you can sens even when everything is quiet. If you close your eyes in a quiet space like that big space in Gothenburg Music Hall you can perfectly well hear the space and get a sense of it's size. This also makes a big difference in music experience compared to reproduced music. https://www.gso.se/en/ To get more of that can be the next goal for my system. Maybe, one more Gotham can be one step in the right direction. Power and cone area in the bass region is probably a way to go also. If I in the future will change my power from Krell tri amping I'm thinking of the brand Gryphon and that the power amp Apex would be a dream for me. My experience with Gryphon is great and I'v owned Gryphon myself and I love their sound. To summarize... No upgrading plans right now, but if I guess, more Subwoofers could do it, and maybe Gryphon Amps like Apex could get me closer to the live music experience.

Carl, it's good to have well defined goals. If you have space, another Gotham will help you achieve a live performance level. Regarding the Apex, it is on the ultimate level for amplifiers. As good as your Krell's are, they cannot match the Apex. But the expense is large switching from Krell to Gryphon. The Krell's are one notch below the ultimate in class A, which is the Apex, IMO. I couldn't imagine how a pair of Gotham's and the Apex driving your Fenice's would sound. You are headed in the right direction.
Best Charles

Hehe! I know. That would fix it.
My budget for HiFi is lik this: HiFi budget = HiFi cost x2 Why? HiFi cost = Wife compensation HiFi budget = HiFi cost + Wife compensation

Since I was the first one on planet earth to use apex in HIFI related issues, I think I could just have on Apex from Gryphon.

Oooops! I forgot to tell you. I'v made one upgrade.
We use a lot of electricity at home. Charging my EV and everything else needs electricity. All my amps does to. In the evening during the cold wintertime in Sweden the electricity in my house is maxed out while using my stereo. Krell and Gotham V2 are thirsty. So I made a big upgrade so my house can get much more current into the house. I don´t want limitations in current if it can restrain my sound. A new box by the street gets me 50% more power if needed into my house. That will be enought. What's the music effect. I did not know what to expect and it's not easy to make an AB test. What I can be sure of is that it's not worse. I maybe imagine, but think it sounds great and I think it's better than before. I sense more airiness, very fast transient response and over all control att the same time a nice relaxed delivered music experiance. Is this posible?
