Here's a response from DCS on the app :
In regards to the App, yes there will be a dCS App available in the very near future. We have almost completed work on the dCS App and we are about to submit it to Apple for verification. The verification process takes approximately 4-6 weeks. Once it has been through the verification process the App can be downloaded from the iTunes store. The App will be available for apple products to start with and a version for Android will be available at a later date. In the meantime you could use 3rd part Apps like Plug Player or the PS Audio App. The App will allow you to control the Upsampler and the DAC but not the Transport and the Clock. We are looking at ways to enable control of these devices and hopefully something will be available in the future to enable system control from the App. Regards, Joe Ling

Hi joe what about the combination /integration of Aurender W20 and the vivaldi Stack?
I am considering the Aurender w20... Finally it is available to download the dcs App , but it is not working at least for me....it is appearing a black page with the word ZONES in the upper left side... anybody else has it working?

The W20 has the ability to switch word clock frequency using a simple USB to RS232 convertor that can be plugged into the back of the Vivaldi clock. The 2 banks of word clock out really comes in handy. 1 bank feeds the stack while the other feeds the W20 that can be switched depending on the sampling frequency of the music. None of the other DCS has this feature & if one uses the upsampling to DSD, then there will be an issue with incompatible word clock frequencies while trying to play 24/96 or 24/192 files. No such issues with the Vivaldi.
One problem though. I am using the dedicated USB out of the W20 to feed the upsampler of the Vivaldi, sometimes, the connection is not recognised when I bring the Vivaldi out from standby mode & I have to cycle the power of the upsampler then all is ok. My dealer says this app is for controlling the files off a server connected via LAN cable to the upsampler.
I have not done it yet so cannot verify
