Default dCS Vivaldi Remote Control App

Does anyone have the Vivaldi Remote Control app for iOS? Where do you download it? Couldn't find anything in the Apple store or the dCS website.

It is not out yet. My stack arrives in 3 weeks and I hope it is out by then. Dcs was going to send me some screen shots. I believe it is mainly to control the UPnP player in the Upsampler with some tunnel commands to control other units within the stack. A beta version was used at CES

You haven't decided to get the Upsampler yet have you? I am really looking forward to delivery

I honestly don't know how the music I'm hearing could get any better. You are going to be blown away. The Vivaldi DAC makes the Paganini sound like Bose. The clarity, detail, density, depth ....speechless. I am not exaggerating. I don't see a reason to upgrade the upsampler. Hard to believe I said that.

Cincy2 - how do you have your server connected ? Via the U-Clock, Upsampler or directly to the Vivaldi ?

Is there any reason to keep all the 3 boxes ? (vs upsample in Pure Music and connect directly via USB to the Vivaldi)

I'm running the Mac Mini to the Pag upsampler and from there Dual AES to the Vivaldi. I heard differences in the pure music upsampler. The soundstage was smaller than when the Pag did the honors.

I got to see some screenshots of the app today. The word was...it will be out by end of month for iPad and March for Android. MacOS also out by March.

The app will provide the following functionality:

1. Source Selection and Information (view and select music sources e.g. USB Stick, iPhone, NAS, view and select UPnP renderers)
2. Browsing and Selection of Music (provide various views e.g. by Location, by Artist, by Album etc.)
3. Currently Playing and Queued Information (Provide Play mode screen with all relevant track info, Queue screen
4. Playback Controls (Play/Pause/Resume/FW/Reverse/DAC vol +/-, Select inputs on dCS Upsampler)
5. dCS Commands (Change DAC and Upsampler inputs, Change DAC volume, Change DAC phase, Change Upsampling Rate)

perfect. It will avoid using a Nevo(optional for Vivaldi) or the Reg controller.
