I have spent ten times that on cable upgrades and not sure I heard any improvement.
All of the updates have been free. I think they separated this update so people could choose
for those that are on the fence about MQA. I thought at the time that it it was good bang
for the buck. I am rethinking MQA however after getting the Yggdrasil DAC. I still have not
heard the full unfolding to be fair.

I installed the MQA feature on my N10 and, yes, it is definitely worth it in terms of SQ (even with only partial unfolding as my DAC doesn't support MQA with my current config.). Recommended.

I installed the MQA upgrade on my Aurender N10 and my N100H music servers. $50.00 each for my two music servers is a bargain for being able to unfold all but the final unfold of MQA master files from Tidal. The sound is excellent.

Agreed. After hearing the improvement on my N10, I also purchased the feature for my X100L. Best improvement for $100 ever.

@Sea music...yeah, I have spent huge amounts on other stuff. Now I feel silly for the hesitation. I have yet to hear full unfolding as well.

I found the full unfold to my MQA DAC to be worth it but it is more expensive than $50. Just playing Tidal MQA into my non MQA K-01x is still a big improvement to me also.

Just doing the first unfold here but definitely worth $50 after spending $XXXXXX on the rest of the system. LOL
