Thanks for all your assistance. I'll be purchasing WW 6.0 speaker cable to replace my Audioquest rockefellers. Then I'll be switching from miova power cables to WW. My entire system will consist of WW. Except and HDMI and Fiber Optic cable. But it's getting there.

5.2 vs 6.0

I recently added Wireworld Silver Eclipse 6.0's to my system after all the great reviews. I replaced my entire signal path except my speaker cables which are still the Silver Eclipse 5.2's.

The results......

I was not happy with the 5.2's. Specifically they were harsh at higher volumes.

With the 6.0's. I gained better detail. The low end increased some and I thought I was satisfied. What I found is that at low to mid volumes (C1000 vol 30-45) I was completely happy but when I cranked it up (C1000 vol 55-60) the highs but mainly the Cymbals and most voices get extremely loud and unbearable compared to the rest of the music. It was uncomfortable to listen to any type of music. I tried all my favorites.

What I ended up doing was replacing one of the 6.0 cables with one of my 5.2's. For whatever reason I seem to be getting a better synergy with the increased detail no mater what the volume level.

More experimenting to follow.

Why am I cranking it up more??? The townhouse connected to mine is vacant.

Got to thinking about the sound differences so I did a continuity check on the 6.0 IC to make sure all wires where connected properly....They were. I am still amazed at the sound changes from one cable change in the signal path.

I am sure new versions of the same cable show improvement. My only experience in this regard is having replaced my Equinox 6 IC with Gold Eclipse 5 (two models back) presented a big improvement in every aspect. I am sure that if compared to the Equinox 5 the 6 would be much better.
