Default Informations about the DB1D3

What is new in the DB1D3?
Only new firmware for the D3 series?

I find this:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...nt%20Paper.pdf

Could a setup, with 1 or 2 DB1D3 and the 804D3, be comparable with the 802D2?
I am sure that the DB1D3 will improve the pressure feeling and will increase the difficulties to remove the vibrations coming from my floor.
Is the distorsion in bass of the 804D3 so present that in the audible range, the improvement will not be real. Just placebo effect.
Is it important to place the centre of the DB1D3 at the same level that the middle of the 2 x 165mm.

Thank You.

Thanks. I will be ordering 804 from a local dealer in the Orange County, Calif area this weekend. Dealer told me it will take 4-6 weeks for new inventory from B&W. Can it be that long? Sounds like Volks racing rims.

FWIW, I just received my 804D3s from the dealer yesterday. I live in the Boston area. It took about 4 weeks. I believe they were backordered.

Thanks for the info as this is a first purchase with this dealer, I want to make sure I know the facts.
