Thanks for all the comments. Not sure which way to go. I would have to swap out my pre for a Luxman at some point so the units would match, and then find a nice CD player in silver. (DCS, Wadia or Esoteric would work)

I do not like the thought of having to pack up and ship the 1.2ks. That requires help and some logistics. Darn, it is hard to change when you get the itch.

I haven't gone that far yet. The trouble is I like having a SACD player and a unit that provides access to those DAC's for my three digital inputs. Nothing is easy.

Thanks Cyril
Yes, I saw there is a D-8 available on A-gon now. It is so difficult to sell three products then purchase from three different sellers.

Jim...I would not purchase the Luxman gear before hearing it at length. At this level, you want to be sure of the switch. My 2c worth.

I say do it. Sounds to me like you have already decided honestly, just looking for some support for the journey! You can always get a set of 1.2's again if it doesn't meet your expectations. Sounds like a fun trial.

Cyril, you are probably correct. I just have the itch for something new. (At least I hope that is why I itch )
