Von Schweikert VR-33 Speaker Review



The looks do not appeal to me but it seems like a very interesting and capable speaker with a killer price. I would be interested in what AAers think about this affordable yet seemingly full-range and competent speaker. There is a lengthy digression in the middle of the review on speaker-design philosophy that also sidetracks into what is the appropriate standard by which to judge speakers/audio components, etc... but one can easily skip that part if you are getting tired of these old arguments. In any case, look forward to other AAers impressions

By the way, these are sold factory direct with a 90-day in home trial which is another reason why they are reasonable in terms of price. Enjoy.
