LorenzoL.......Those are fine looking knives. My favorite is the Carey. Can these knives be ordered on the Web? I'd love to pick a couple of these Carey knives up.

Thanks for the tip.
Unfortunately, Peter Carey has closed the book a while ago (meaning he is not taking orders anymore, just filling previous orders). Your best bet is to attend a knife show, just check first whether Peter will attend, he is quite reclusive. His knives pop up sporadically on knife forums or on custom dealers' sites.

Well - I don't collect knives, but how about swords?!

The website Summerchild Polishing showcases a katana done by knife maker Bob Engnath whose skill as a sword maker was recognized by those willing to invest in a polish to bring out his artistry:

That's my sword....

The blade is Damascus steel, the finger guard is layered pure silver and pure copper, the handle is fossilized hippopotamus tooth with a marvelous hand carved scrimshaw of a bobcat chasing a rabbit, signed and dated by the artist, C. Hargraves '96. The knife is so well balanced you can put your index finger on the finger rest in the handle, open your other fingers and the knife will remain balanced right there.

VERY nice.

I have a couple of Kershaw Onions, that's about it.

I recently purchased a Chris Reeves Umnumzaan. It has been great, so far.
A few other knives that I have are a Rick Hinderer XM-18, Emerson CQC12 Comrade, Microtech HALO, Zero Tolerance 0551, Kershaw Chive, and a CRKT M21.
I would like to get a William Henry sometime, but they can get expensive. Also looking out for a Strider and a Tops Tom Brown Tracker.

Michael.......Shrade Cutlery makes very good knives, solid construction, and high quality steel for the blade. They are less a collectors knife, and more a very useful everyday tool. I like the one you posted. Can you give me the model number?
