My main system has pretty much run rampant in our living room, making it more of a listening room, so a couple of years ago when we built a new sun room on our house it became my wife's sanctuary. So when I snuck into the room with a sound system it had to be discrete, blend well with the decor, and fit on non-audiophile-approved shelves. The result is this little system with a Luxman SQ-N100 integrated, a Squeezebox Touch feeding a PS Audio Nuwave dac, a refurbished AR XA turntable (it was my dad's, so more a labor of love than for the sound), PSB Imagine Mini speakers, and baby REL T-5 to flesh out the bottom a little. The sound is definitely not the most detailed and revealing, but has a very pleasing tonal balance and good soundstage, and blends reasonably well with the room. It's great for quiet classical or jazz listening while enjoying a relaxing Sunday morning hanging out with my wife reading, or lurking on AA.
